Pretty stable business outlook. Some colleagues who are interesting and cool. Sometimes you can get out of the office for conferences or meetings.
Cons
Boring, repetitive, make-work kind of job. Your day typically breaks down to: -20% "Reporting" and writing -20% Compliance paperwork tasks -10% Dealing with busted / inefficient technology -10% Spacing out in unnecessary meetings -40% Browsing the internet and online shopping No room to advance and no accomplishments to put on your resume (not even bylines). Executive-level management very disconnected from day-to-day operations, which they nevertheless love to micromanage
