Pros

Great facilities, free coffee and fresh bananas. Makes you feel welcome like a golden office cage.

Cons

Working for Argus was very Toxic, I always felt uncomfortable, unappreciated and undervalued. Americas Management has poor communication and I always felt bullying or talked down to. Management takes advantage of their power and make their sales staff feel inferior by bullying them. There is a lack of intelligent leadership. Fellow employees love to spread rumors and are constantly gossiping which makes it harder to perform at your duties. It only took only 6 months to see how dis-functional this company is and realize that I was not excited about going to work anymore. I felt that I was part of a stabbing competition similar to an environment to The Hunger Games" . Stabbing is highly encouraged. Management communicates very poor, starting from the CEO who can't speak in public and ends with the founder senior employees who have only worked in one single company all their life and not having the experience to take Argus to the next level. Americas Management and employees make up two completely separate groups, interaction is one-way in which the commercial manager tells the underling what to do. Nobody talks openly to HR and management just pretend that nothing is dark and rotten.

Pros

Great teammates with high standards and low egos. Compensation isn’t competitive, so top performers often move on. The medical insurance, though, is excellent.

Cons

Management: Severely disconnected. A strict “3 days in office” rule is tracked via weekly attendance reports, yet the Head of North America works fully remote after moving away from Houston. Compensation: Senior-level pay is well below the Houston market. Repeated promises to make salaries competitive have been half-measures (think bottom 10% range). Hours: Expect meetings to be scheduled irrespective of your actual working hours.
