Pros
Some very talented and dedicated colleagues. My team leader was truly inspirational (since departed) but unfortunately the best ones don’t tend to stay long due to the entrenched blame culture.
Cons
Toxic blame culture compounded by management deniability and lack of accountability. Some entrenched senior managers are out of their depth but insulate themselves from the hard decisions by implementing them through others then blaming them for not receiving the appropriate support: “Responsibility finds a way. Irresponsibility makes excuses!” Key promotions are based on friendships and not merit. It is a money pit: The go-to solution to try and fix a problem is by throwing more investor money at it, without addressing the fundamental issue of mismanagement. If you’re happy to coast along and blame others for your own failings, this is the company for you.
