      Interesting work, freedom to pursue other research within company, respect from colleagues/managers and a fantastic coffee machine.

      Cons

      Terrible hours, inflexible work times, high turnover piling work on the remainder and limited upward mobility within company.

      Pros

      Great teammates with high standards and low egos. Compensation isn’t competitive, so top performers often move on. The medical insurance, though, is excellent.

      Cons

      Management: Severely disconnected. A strict “3 days in office” rule is tracked via weekly attendance reports, yet the Head of North America works fully remote after moving away from Houston. Compensation: Senior-level pay is well below the Houston market. Repeated promises to make salaries competitive have been half-measures (think bottom 10% range). Hours: Expect meetings to be scheduled irrespective of your actual working hours.
