      Pros

      Some really good staff, things generally run well and up to the minute updates on the market. The workload is variable and project based.

      Cons

      Editorial live in the dark ages and HR rule with a rod of iron. No flexibility on working hours or location. The multi floor and multi office problem in London seems insurmountable.

      Pros

      Great teammates with high standards and low egos. Compensation isn’t competitive, so top performers often move on. The medical insurance, though, is excellent.

      Cons

      Management: Severely disconnected. A strict “3 days in office” rule is tracked via weekly attendance reports, yet the Head of North America works fully remote after moving away from Houston. Compensation: Senior-level pay is well below the Houston market. Repeated promises to make salaries competitive have been half-measures (think bottom 10% range). Hours: Expect meetings to be scheduled irrespective of your actual working hours.
