Pros
Great benefits package. 5% match on 401k plus an additional 5% contributed even if you don't put any money in. Full tuition reimbursement as long as it applies to your job or a potential position you could go to within BASF.
Cons
Very structured system for promotions and raises. Needs some work to ensure that management doesn't seem like they're not telling their employees everything.
