Pros
- There are jobs where you work 6h/day, only weekdays, so that's good as you have more free time to do other things - Very stable job, if you got in by applying to a public test - Nice co-workers - Big company, can work in the entire contry (Brazil) or in any other the company operates, though it's difficult to get a transfer - Very good quality online trainings, though you have too much (maybe none) time to take them
Cons
- Low recognition - Low salary compared to other jobs in the public sphere - Difficulty to get promoted. There is a 2-year block to each role you get (cannot be promoted again before 2 years) - Only 15min lunch time on a 6h/day journey - Stressful by the nature of the work and unnecessary demands from the superintendence - Impossible, never-ending goals - Bureaucracy
