Pros

The customer base & upper management pay is the only pro.

Cons

I was an ASM with the company. Immediately entering the company there was a lot of racism and discrimination. The worst part was if you didn't adhere to how they would like things run or If you didn't "dislike" the same associates they did then you are a target. Yes it was that petty. Upper MGT is very unprofessional. A lot of turn around with upper management because the District Manager creates the culture of "if your cool and can make me look good then we are good" If you actually try to run your store the way you feel (while upholding brand standard) there is an issue and you need to be replaced. I actually witnessed this with another manager when I started my position.. She was "pushed out". You are not allowed to have an opinion if you are not one of the "liked" managers. I personally do not care what your position is, I demand respect and if it is not given I have no use for you. I will be cordial however I will not respect you or say much unless needed. Not a company to work for if you TRULY care that your associates and customers are happy. If you don't mind stepping on anyone to get ahead then this is the company for you. It got so bad I had to literally record all of my encounters with anyone I spoke with to show the bias towards me for being my own thinker & not entertaining the gossip. Like it was bad ! But I don't regret working there because experiences like that prepare you for the other unprofessional condescending people of the world :) . Btw Victoria secret is the same company and I would recommend their umbrella or any other company under LBrands , just not BBW

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
