Cons
Culture different per game team. Experience at Blizzard may vary as a result. Different teams have led to silos in shared code cross communication. Each team constantly reinventing the wheel. It is better to leave Blizzard and get rehired for a pay increase than stay and receive a pay increase through reviews. When projects were cancelled, the people were allotted time to find new teams, that practice has since changed. Blizzard has only become slower at making games over time which affects bonuses, profit sharing. Little accountability for executive decisions that are passed down to its employees instead. Some teams drastically need more people and has led to burnout and turnover.
