Pros

-Friendly coworkers and peers -Upskilling resources on latest tech, software, coding, and FlexEd money pot for each employee to use for trainings and ongoing education -Up until 2025, a great internal culture that was pro-women in tech leadership and advancement. Always felt like I could ask questions without concern of being slapped on the wrist or consequences. -Most task leads and technical management are/were great at their jobs and competent.

Cons

-Complete tonal switch by marketing and leadership suite in 2025 to bow down to a volatile and authoritarian government with no way to pivot because their whole business runs on public sector revenue -Internal communities for women, POC, LGBTQ+ wiped out and silenced overnight -Overwhelming focus on being 100% billable + working 2-3 employees’ jobs because of the FY2026 cuts and DOGE. -Internal/corporate core is especially targeted because they are not client-revenue driven so always a constant justification of “worth” with very little support to do the work of several people. -Lack of transparency with many leaders (VP and partners) to delivery teams on impacts and changes in corporate culture. -Digital dispatches from CEO office delivered via email feel distant and out of touch with most client-facing staff. Before I left the firm they used one of these dispatches to tell us they were going to be doing quarterly employee surveys but only to improve digital/corporate processes and to not have 360 degree reviews of leadership, which was kind of the original point of the annual surveys. They don’t care how much they have destroyed the work culture only to know how we feel about the latest WorkDay release updates. -Compensation for technical staff not keeping up with competitors and tech platform vendors without proper RSUs or bonus structures. I am leaving for a job with a base 35% higher than my BAH one and with a substantial RSU package that comes into effect in a year of employment.

Pros

Strong mission-focused culture with meaningful work supporting national security missions. Great exposure to diverse projects, talented teammates, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities to develop skills across security, intelligence, cyber, and consulting. Benefits and professional development resources are solid.

Cons

The company culture and employee experience have changed significantly in recent years. Earlier years felt more mission-focused and employee-centered, while recent organizational shifts, government spending pressures, and increased emphasis on becoming a technology-focused company have created uncertainty for some employees. Frequent changes in priorities, restructuring, and business decisions can make job stability feel less predictable. Employees may sometimes feel disconnected from leadership, and concerns raised through HR or management channels do not always appear to result in meaningful action or transparency.
