Provided decent benefits. Got a lot of travel points because I had to use my own credit cards so I got the multipliers. I was fortunate enought to have great managers who looked out for me and propelled my career forward with good compensation.
Cons
Will mess up your taxes - Ceva will deduct taxes from your paycheck but never disburse them to the proper localities/offices. 2022 and 2023 I had this issue. in 2022 I moved cities and filled out all the HR forms, ended up getting taxes deducted for the city I moved out of (after I had already moved out) and the one I had moved into. Come tax season I come to find out they never paid the taxes to the new locality I moved to. I had to pay out of pocket for those taxes and even once escalated to HR and payroll, I was never reimbursed for the deductions. in 2023 I did not move but Ceva still failed to pay the taxes to the locality. Chooses to enter into bad business - spent 18 straight months traveling to different startup sites for rescue/recovery of failed startups. In every case it was becasue of poor internal business review, not fully understanding the scope of the work, and entering into unrealistic agreeements by just saying "Yes" instead of being realistic with customer expectations. No travel expense card - get ready to open up new credit cards because the company won't provide you one, even if you travel 100%.
