Pros

Onsite gym, the ability to work from home, great co-workers

Cons

Super political environment, nepotism, and poor leadership in the mid levels. Managers will use assorted data to hide behind making any true managerial decisions. There is a hiring freeze in Richmond, making mobility very difficult. Capital One cannot stay out of the news with their shady business practice. The work from home option really just means you are going to be working about 12 more hours than you would in a normal work environment every week.

Pros

Well-run company that knows its values and lives them out. They hire well, and trust people to do their jobs, and people almost always do. Very tech-forward, and adopts the current tech meta quite well.

Cons

Performance management is a double edged sword. It feels intense, but I get why they do it. And helps me reflect on where Im at. Small price to pay

Pros

Environment was good, food was decent, free food at my location (dont know if it was allowed but it was good)

Cons

The rittenhouse location is managed by a tyrant, he is an incredibly toxic man and upper management make it the most unbearable place to work. Andy will ask you to come in on days you're not scheduled, and then hold it over your head if you don't. Talks about employees behind their backs constantly. No respect enforced employees talked about each other all the time and there was even name calling in meetings, management did nothing. Worst place I've ever worked in my life frankly and affected my mental health in the worst way. Glad to be out out of there. The place itself has potential but the management at the Rittenhouse branch and above them is absolutely terrible in every regard.
