Pros
Truly a global business, with operations and work opportunities around the world. Cargill also has a surprisingly wide range products, from bulk commodities and food ingredients, to industrial chemicals and biotech, too trading and financial services. Plenty of opportunities for a varied, life-long career. Cargill is a very stable company and had a strong sense of ethics and fair business practices.
Cons
With size and 150 years of history, it has developed sclerotic bureaucracy that it is having a hard time shaking. Until recently, senior mgmt was almost entirely home-grow talent, leading to myopia and glacial pace of change.
