      Pros

      If you have worked there for over 10 years, you virtually do not have to work anymore on a daily basis. However, this was NOT my case.

      Cons

      Individuals or ancient dinosours working at Cargill for ages do nothing and load work on to others, AND they openly get away with it. Management verbally abuse and belittle the individuals that they oversee. The majority of the managers that I came across only received management positions based on seniority, and NOT professional capacity. That is the problem with Cargill. There are a number of incompotent individuals running the show.

      Pros

      Pay is good, especially on holidays! you get days off during the week and you work every other weekend

      Cons

      The schedule is hard, 12 hour days for 1 month then 12 hour nights then switch back. the environment is tough, the work load is heavy. not always the support you need to help you. favoritism, Management can be difficult, sink or swim type of culture, The testing is nearly impossible to get through. In the end you can do a great job in learning the job, if they don't want you, you will be replaced!
