Pros

Being a crew member is a good first job to get. Can help establish good work ethic and social skills. Easy training and good dynamic. Crew members can receive decent tips, bringing in some extra cash. Good for students, typically has a flexible schedule. For long time employees there appear to be decent benefits, such as 401k matching.

Cons

Sometimes not enough employees are scheduled during rush times. In addition you may be scheduled to leave right before a rush, and need to stay later to help with the rush. Corporate will address smaller issues without addressing larger problems. Hourly payment starts at minimum wage, and is not given much room for improvement.

Pros

Tips can be great in the morning, and the free coffee makes for a great pick me up.

Cons

Management can sometimes brush off issues when they're brought up directly, and there seems to be a severe disconnect between what the owners/franchisees want in the store and what management actually allows to happen, which can cause rifts on shift.
