Pros

Education support, Great teams, Great benefits. If you want it and are willing to work for it there are many opportunities here.

Cons

They are not going to hand it to you. You need to have your basics down before you reach for more responsibility. Many people are content to do the first part but not the work for the second. Yes, they will reimburse you for that work-related class you take outside of work -- but you have to take the class! Too many co-workers are content to sit and whine. It's sad because the issue is not that they are not talented, it's that they never stretch and show management they are hungry for more. I've seen people go from entry level to management through sheer determination. Changes come fast -- too fast to keep up with. Upper middle management is always getting juggled. It's to the point we mostly don't bother to learn their names unless they are directly above us -- because in 6 months it will be someone else.

Pros

Great PTO benefits, very flexible.

Cons

There are certainly favorites among leadership. If you are on management's good side, you may see opportunities that others won't. Most internal promotions are decided before the job even posts, they just have to go through the formalities of posting/interviewing.
