      Awful Location Management in Türkiye - Data Engineer EPAM Systems Employee Review

      Unfortunately, nothing to write here

      Cons

      I do not recommend employment in ERAM Turkey. The very "talented" Russian-speaking management of the location is uncooperative in solving any issues at a serious level. Turks at the head of the location continue the policy of their Russian-speaking colleagues. People left with uncompetitive salaries and negligible benefits are gradually leaving the company. There is already a shortage of staff. The risk of the location closing down feels real with each passing month

      Pros

      You get exposure to the very latest technology, and the company is implementing it in impactful, real-world ways. Even if you're not in a tech role, you naturally build deeper understanding in the latest technologies that you may never get exposure to at other companies. Truly global. Even for employees not in global roles, you still get good visibility into the company's global scale and impact.

      Cons

      Too much process around approvals which reduces speed of execution. Asked to step-up but then insufficient support provided. Two-faced behaviors of managers has become acceptable.
