Pros
High starting salary for college graduates Nice facilities (cafeteria, underground parking) Lots of travel (if you like that sort of thing)
Cons
Bad management (untrained managers that generally do not care about those reporting to them) Bad raises (generally speaking, there are exceptions) Expectation of massive overtime with little to no recognition or reward Company prefers to chew people up and spit them out and then hire more college grads No value placed on family or work-life balance Little to no chance to transfer between departments Very few promotions and the ones that do exist usually do not involve a salary increase
