Pros
-Relationships with coworkers, management, and guests. It is the best feeling when guests remember you by name, and vice versa. -Health, vision, and dental benefits for full-time associates, 30 hours or more. -This job is challenging! You determine the amount of money you can make by selling wax passes or products, which can be done if you are consistent, and you have an open mind that there are always things to be learned and different ways to deliver when talking to guests about wax passes! -The Stiebers management team always try to accommodate their staff and understand that happy associates = happy business. They always think and talk things through before making any significant changes and always think about what is best for the associates and the business. -Catalina and Holli are there for you whenever you need them. They will always be honest with you. -They have holiday parties every year and even allow you to bring your significant other! Last year we went to Top Golf and it was all paid for! The associates who have been with a company for a long time got to go to Ruth's Chris with a +1 to show their appreciation. -As a Guest Service Associate, you make commission and bonuses based on your performance. There are also monthly contests for all associates where you can make an extra bonus! Management tries to think of ways to motivate the team in an exciting way. -This EWC has growth opportunities and has even created positions suited for people's' strengths. For example, making someone into a designated sales trainer...that isn't a standard position. -There are monthly team meetings. -You will never be required to work both weekend days (It will either be Saturday OR Sunday). -Accommodating to time off requests.
Cons
-As a Guest Service Associate, your hours are dependent on your performance. This could be considered a con to some people. -Long hours on weekend shifts...you will usually work from 8:15-6pm as a Wax Specialist and sometimes as a GSA. -This is a sales position, which could be considered a con. Guests could think you are too pushy...but it's all about delivery.
