Pros
Farfetch was a great place to work a couple of years ago. The mindset was the right one: people were first. This contributed immensely to the overall satisfaction, everyone was happy and tried their best. Once Coupang stepped in, everything was squeezed to the last drop and it seems to never stop. What still keeps people there are other people and not the company itself.
Cons
Coupang cut many benefits, including meals; Company's overall quality has dropped due to some decisions like allowing the stores to take their own pictures of the products; There are many reorgs and no transparency at all from the higher ranks within the company, which summarizes in overnight mass lay-offs; Coupang leans on a trimestral talent award and avoids individual promotion.
