Pros

great WLB secure jobs; no lay-offs managers are nice and understanding. no micro-managing everyone seems to mind their own business so the culture might seem a little cold at first but they're always there to help if you reach out

Cons

Once you're assigned a feature to test, you're stuck with it for quite a while (could be years) - some teams will rotate features after 1-2 years, some don't, which makes the daily work tasks quite repetitive. There are not many opportunities to learn beyond the daily work tasks and grow further within the team or the company. Annual raise or promotion can happen very slowly; no clear % was communicated regarding this either. It's also hard to position yourself again in the market since your experience is strongly tied to a specific feature within FOS. This is more of a job for someone who wants a comfortable, stable work to retire, not for ambitious individual who has a growth mindset I also find the mandatory 4-day in-office work is unnecessary. Most employees feel this way too. This role is quite independent itself so having to come in office so often can affect one's work satisfaction in the long run.

Pros

- On target OTE and uncapped commissions - Great overall work culture - A lot of cool Field marketing events - Ability to expense dinners, entertainment, gifts for clients - Great company vision and a broad security fabric portfolio with several third party validations for a well-known cybersecurity brand makes it easy to sell and be successful.

Cons

- New business quotas are the same for every seller at least on my team, who all have very different territories, some with more white space heavy accounts that can be much more challenging to hit quota compared to other territories. Quotas went up by 20% from previous year. - Too many internal systems to navigate - processes and sales enablement tools could be more efficient - You can be the top performer in your US sales segment, and still not make it to President's Club because of the way it's structured - competing against different segments and only top 3-4% get to go each year. Rewarding top performers in general is an area needing improvement in my opinion.
