Pros

-> Diverse and feature-rich product offerings, huge scope to learn different Cyber-security and WLAN products - > Competitive work environment - > Amazing Health and Stock options for Employees - > FTS model

Cons

- > No Cab facility, No free food and No work-from-home option and most importantly no shift allowances for TAC folks - > Fortinet India management is very frugal in terms of passing on benefits to its employees - > Recruitment (HR) process is bit unfriendly and not accountable - never discussed about Shift Allowances and Cab facility during hiring process and keeps telling stories/bluffs a lot which is misleading for a new hire - > Folks in TAC are made to work straight 14 days per month in a stretch without Paid Offs, HR policies are NOT Employee friendly , very rigid and not in par with the current industry standards - > Higher management discriminates Engineering and TAC teams, gives preferential treatment to Engineering team and sub-standard treatment to TAC folks, instead they should treat everyone with due importance

Thank you for the review. With due respect to your opinion, I would strongly urge you to read and understand various employee policies. We do have a strong allowance policy for TAC employees. Also the food options are heavily subsidized . Our various HR policies are best in class comparing to the industry (leave/medical etc). We encourage open door policy and anyone from Sr Management is available for a discussion. Happy to clarify any questions you may have to alleviate all mis-conceptions which are not true!

Pros

- On target OTE and uncapped commissions - Great overall work culture - A lot of cool Field marketing events - Ability to expense dinners, entertainment, gifts for clients - Great company vision and a broad security fabric portfolio with several third party validations for a well-known cybersecurity brand makes it easy to sell and be successful.

Cons

- New business quotas are the same for every seller at least on my team, who all have very different territories, some with more white space heavy accounts that can be much more challenging to hit quota compared to other territories. Quotas went up by 20% from previous year. - Too many internal systems to navigate - processes and sales enablement tools could be more efficient - You can be the top performer in your US sales segment, and still not make it to President's Club because of the way it's structured - competing against different segments and only top 3-4% get to go each year. Rewarding top performers in general is an area needing improvement in my opinion.
