Pros
Access to incredible equipment, good scientists and interesting projects. Work/Life balance is excellent and if you have interest one can do exciting work.
Cons
There is a lot of middle management and at the time a lot of layoffs. It wasn't clear what management was doing about the lack of productivity that was causing the layoffs.
