- Google Cloud Singapore and SouthEast Asia(SEA) has changed 5 leaders in 2 years and the quality of the new leaders are getting worse as leaders who do not have the relevant experiences were hired which resulted to overall very bad business result in SouthEast Asia (SEA) - Google Cloud Singapore is being run like family business, the new Country Leader who has joined in early 2022 does not respect her own team members nor supporting them. She brought in her own favorite team members from her previous organization that does not have the relevant sales experiences and she will render her full support for these people. In addition, she does not respect her supporting team who are lower ranking too. - The New Country Leader for Singapore likes limelight and forcing her team to expose her on all social media platforms (including Facebook) for her personal publicity - Most of the leaders in SEA (including pre-sales leader and partnership leader) does not want to get their hands dirty for the business, and they do not like to support their team for issues - Most of the people managers including the Country Leader (especially in Singapore) prefer to stay internally for internal visibilities, they will only volunteer to meet happy customers that the previous owners have achieved and claim credits for themselves - The ASEAN leadership team (especially the new Country Leader of Singapore) focus on covering upwards. Anything that she committed to help the team verbally does not count (For Eg: when real help is needed, her reply is I don’t remember that at all)
