Pros
The money is good compared to most other salons in the area. Some of the other stylists really do make an effort to help you and build a bond. You do slowly build up paid vacations.
Cons
There are more negative things I have to say about this place than positive. The manager is absolutely crazy, she's stolen (from employees and salon product and from the drawer), and lies to the district manager and the franchisee to save her butt on a regular and to make her own stylists look bad. Upper management knows exactly what goes on but does nothing to stop it. They've made the requirements to get a raise so difficult that almost no one is able to get one. Obviously you have to work weekends and holidays. If you get sick you don't get paid. There are very lazy people you get stuck working with. I dread going to work most days which isn't what it should be like.
