Pros
Great opportunity for a good talented engineer to grow and to also experience large scale automotive manufacturing and automation. also learned about adhesives and chemical processes from fantastically talented chemists.
Cons
Henkel is a family owned global company. Decisions are often made for short term monetary gains over thoughtful business choices. Possibly too big to understand which individual's are generating profits IE carrying a businesses group. Then eliminate the group or business unit. Like the old saying about throwing out the baby with the bath water. Also promotion is tied to having an MBA. Probably because all MBAs look at short term profits and management bonuses over long term business strategy.
