Pros

Great team members Flexible schedule Good pay Lots of PTO

Cons

HSHS use to be a good place to work and I loved it here. But over the years poor choice after poor choice has been made which put them in a financially bad spot, then a cyber attack happened which made things much worse. Recently things were looking up and emails were sent out about how well things are going financially now…. Well another horrible choice has been made yet again after this was said.. everyone who is under the umbrella of revenue cycle is being kicked out the door. We have the option to move to a company HSHS has made a contract with for 7 years. This company has only been in existence for 10 years! And when you look up reviews online from workers there it’s terrible. HSHS has claimed that they care about their loyal employees but that has been proven to be a lie and we all have been betrayed. Myself and many others have stuck with the company through its lowest lows and now they do this to us. The icing on this awful cake is within a week of us finding out all of this they announce they are putting $270 million into their Wisconsin hospitals, their largest investment ever. It was another slap in the face. I foresee more poor choices in the future and I really wonder what the Sisters would think about all of these terrible decisions. My final thoughts is having a middle man is never a good idea in the long run.

Pros

Best work environment I've seen in healthcare. Everyone is friendly and works together. They also have a fantastic residency program for new grads.

Cons

As every place, they expect too much from staff and you may not feel supported by management. However I will say that my opinion is colored by me working night shift.

Pros

Clinical staff were great, lots of skills to be gained, building is clean and spacious, in and outdoor seating for lunch, cheap insurance compared to other local healthcare organizations

Cons

30 minute lunch, only one microwave and two lunch shifts for entire office, have to use your PTO when they are closed for holidays and in my opinion you do not get much time the first 5 years, the office manager at that time (no longer there) was difficult to be around, same responsibilities and workload as LPN and RN with much less pay of course
