Pros
I have been with the company for over 3 years and I have enjoyed watching the company grow and expand its service offerings. The President, Bruce Fabel, has helped refocus the goals of the company to become the premier provider of cosmetic services in the industry, with a strong emphasis on customer service. There is a strong sense of wanting to be the best, which helps to drive the work flow and give purpose to the company employees. With the expanded offering of new services, each day brings new tasks and is challenging yet interesting, never a dull moment. If I had to give the strongest “pro” about Ideal Image, it would be the work environment, hands down. I enjoy coming to work each day and I am able to maintain a healthy work life balance. The environment is hardworking yet flexible and I have never had to sacrifice family time or personal time for work. The managers are very accommodating with the employees and you can tell that they want Ideal Image to be an environment that the employees enjoy and a place where they succeed. The President has taken a strong approach to promoting a healthy lifestyle for the employees, implementing a wellness program and providing discounts and deals from various healthcare/fitness companies in the area. The corporate office participates in a birthday and employee of the month celebration each month to honor those employees who have birthdays and to recognize a valuable employee. Since I have been with the company, there has always been a holiday party to celebrate all of the employees’ hard work. The company continues to honor their employees throughout the year which fosters a sense of appreciation for their efforts.
Cons
If you don’t like change, Ideal Image is likely not for you. Some people don’t like change and don’t know how to handle it and are thus unwilling to evolve with the company. While Ideal Image has definitely made some changes with its direction and pace, it is all within the best interest of the company. The President has successfully found new opportunities within the cosmetic services arena which has the potential to keep Ideal Image at the forefront of the industry.
