      Pros

      + Culture: ambitious people with valuable ideas, always ready to help, collaborate and contribute. + No-ego management: the leadership is open for feedback, encourages direct communication and leads by example. + Data is king: if you want to learn more about how to read and use the data in your daily work and transform it into decisions, this is the environment. At Inkitt decisions are driven by data, not someone's gut feeling + Self-growth opportunities: the company offers unlimited budget for books and promotes self-development on each level, while fosters attempting-and-failing-culture as an important pillar for taking the ownership mindset

      Cons

      - Processes: the company is still not big enough to have all the processes in place and that might be sometimes messy and frustrating, which on the flip side creates a lot of room for building it further, changing things and seeing results quite fast - Selection process: the process was a bit robotic and longer than expected, due to the fact the company is actively working on its optimization. Communication with the in-house recruiter was clear and fluid and an overall experience was very positive

      - Being able to lead projects independently from A to Z and be trusted for it - Engaging daily with a creative and passionate team - Being part of exciting new projects in a fast-paced, fast-evolving industry - Steep learning curve, you'll be pushed out of your comfort zone and grow fast

      Cons

      Inkitt is a fast-paced start-up with no set playbook. People who love structure and need to be managed and told what to do may find it challenging.

      Pros

      Inkitt is one of the few places that actually sits between tech and media in a way that works. A manuscript comes in, real reader behavior tells you whether the story has legs, and the team turns that signal into a career for the author. I think about reader retention and narrative pacing in the same conversation now, which I didn't before.

      Cons

      The flip side is that the playbook doesn't fully exist yet. Some weeks you're inventing the process while running it. Energizing if you like ambiguity, exhausting if you don't. Worth being honest with yourself about which camp you're in before signing on.
