Pros
Great opportunities to learn and grow. Company Is willing to take a chance on new ideas and to give employees roles they wouldn't qualify for elsewhere.
Cons
You get the experience, but not the pay. It is worth it for a period do time but not long term. Too much HR control and input. The business is pushed to excel at lean staffing levels but then they are bloated in the HR realms.
