Pros
Great training programs to promote within. Benefits are fantastic. All kinds of perks from 4 year scholarship drawings to school of choice, quarterly bonus, prize drawings, employee give always, in house loans withdrawn from pay check at minimal fees, etc. Also is a critical position company and will always be stable due to being a food facility. Just about everyone eats meat.
Cons
Can work a lot of hours depending on position with the company. Smell and cold environment, but competitive pay rates.
