Pros

JCI offers an international work experience. If you are good at politics and networking, you will have a very successful career here. You don't need to be competent in anything. If you are an American, you can even go outside the US and play the mighty master in one of the JCI colonies. Again, no competence necessary.

Cons

If you are not an American and also not good at playing the company politics, you have no chances of progressing in your career. In 5-10 years you will notice that you can't find a job outside JCI either, because your skills stayed in stone ages. IT management is utterly incompetent. They have to outsource almost all of the work. Way too many IT Directors costing the company a fortune, but bringing very little value, if any. They survive mainly because of cronism. Expectations from IT is so low anyway, that noone points out the problems any more.

Pros

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
