      Good people and interesting business model

      My boss was not a leader and viewed everything as a political move. Micromanaged without ever describing the big picture. Misrepresented the job during the interview process. Was eager to share how much value they added to the company, and how great they were at performing their job, but always had unkind words to say about nearly everyone at the plant.

      Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

      Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
