Pros
K-C has some great people who realy care about the company, their fellow employees and their products. The company was based on a culture of making the best products, taking care of our customers and our communities. This can be seen in the very high level of employee contributions to United Way and local charities.
Cons
In the last 10 years the company really seems to have lost its culture. Senior management seems to have decided what we don't want to be (tool collegial, conflict adverse, risk adverse), but they haven't been able to decide or articulate what they do want to be. The company aches for a leader with soul who can inspire, not an accountant and a bunch of people who listen to consultants instead of charting their own path.
