There are senior leaders in Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago. Many especially in Finance, HR and Global marketing are on the same page regarding business needs. It makes it extremely difficult at times.
Finance is brutal. The company has been cutting marketing and product efficacy for 10+ years for the investment dividends. The trick is to go with the constant spin (digital transformation, etc) from above to motivate the teams.
Hiring has been brutal given the DE&I quotas. It was hard to let good people go and break up families.
