      Good Summer Job, Wild Kids - Summer Camp Counselor Life Time Employee Review

      Pros

      - All of the leadership (summer camp leads, kids/swim supervisors and managers, department heads, and GM) at Life Time were great - Team members were fun and respectful, felt like a community - Nice to have lesson plans already made and rules in line - Excellent pay and hours

      Cons

      - Some of the kids and families themselves made this not your typical summer camp. Many kids didn't listen and complained because they didn't have their phones or iPads, and parents didn't seem to want to help the counselors when we talked about issues. This was only a small amount though, easy to brush off - Camp was a little repetitive

      They don’t pay anything, and the CEO should honestly be ashamed. If employees were paid properly, there wouldn’t be so much drama and tension in the workplace. Communication is terrible because management doesn’t even seem to care — probably because they’re getting crumbs too. Spa management was dreadful, and the demotion was necessary. How do you fail to have people booked during major holidays when the money and clientele are clearly there? There was no structure, no leadership, and no motivation for employees to succeed. Having a successful spa for 3 years and coming into this environment I was not impressed. No growth, no support, no appreciation. Loved the members tho! And S/O to Leemar, Virgil and Dr. Hayden love them down!
