Pros

Free membership, free product, discounted cafe food.

Cons

About the Scottsdale Life Spa: Poor compensation, expected to work for free, employees take the hit for discounted services, product "fees", must work a lot for little pay (cleaning and marketing), poor communication from management, disrespectful communication from management, no or very short lunch breaks even during long shifts, management only communicates through paper/text/e-mails, will be angry if you are ill, high employee turn over, management shows obvious favorites or vengeful behavior if they dislike you, some managers are too young to be effective and respectful, negative work environment overall. Will seem great at first until you start to wonder where your money has gone to. They pump you up to let you down. Will have unrealistic financial goals for services that you must hit, The building is great, members are nice but the management brings it down. Has great potential until you realize that they don't care about you. Three clients said "You're great but I wont get used to you because you will be gone soon. Lifetime does not know how to treat their people." Sure enough I quit in three months.

Cons

They don’t pay anything, and the CEO should honestly be ashamed. If employees were paid properly, there wouldn’t be so much drama and tension in the workplace. Communication is terrible because management doesn’t even seem to care — probably because they’re getting crumbs too. Spa management was dreadful, and the demotion was necessary. How do you fail to have people booked during major holidays when the money and clientele are clearly there? There was no structure, no leadership, and no motivation for employees to succeed. Having a successful spa for 3 years and coming into this environment I was not impressed. No growth, no support, no appreciation. Loved the members tho! And S/O to Leemar, Virgil and Dr. Hayden love them down!
