Pros

Life Time is a great company for anyone looking to establish a career within the company and willing to put the time in to move up. Also, if you are someone looking to pick up some part-time hours and get a free gym membership in the process, this is the place.

Cons

As "The Healthy Way of Life Company," Life Time has a great mission statement and set of policies. However, the rat race of trying to gain the upper hand in the industry and gain every dollar possible can wear good employees out. The compensation is not the worst, but for the profits made and lack of work/life balance, it is very difficult not to feel undervalued.

They don’t pay anything, and the CEO should honestly be ashamed. If employees were paid properly, there wouldn’t be so much drama and tension in the workplace. Communication is terrible because management doesn’t even seem to care — probably because they’re getting crumbs too. Spa management was dreadful, and the demotion was necessary. How do you fail to have people booked during major holidays when the money and clientele are clearly there? There was no structure, no leadership, and no motivation for employees to succeed. Having a successful spa for 3 years and coming into this environment I was not impressed. No growth, no support, no appreciation. Loved the members tho! And S/O to Leemar, Virgil and Dr. Hayden love them down!
