Pros

Training in motivational interviewing skills Great facilities to train members

Cons

Constant turn over with staff. Even after monthly sales goals are met, last week of every month each staff has a new mandatory goal to make up for other team members who did not make their original monthly goal. If unable to make the last weekly goal, you can still be penalized even if you made personal monthly goal. Mandatory sales of products other than just personal training. (heart rate monitors, activity monitors, metabolic testing, nutrition supplements, etc.) When asked to supply with proper information re: products trainer was told to take it on faith that Life Time Fitness company has done its research into quality products and only gave rudimentary study results to help trainers pedal products.

Pros

Free Membership Cool employees Discounts on services

Cons

They don’t pay anything, and the CEO should honestly be ashamed. If employees were paid properly, there wouldn’t be so much drama and tension in the workplace. Communication is terrible because management doesn’t even seem to care — probably because they’re getting crumbs too. Spa management was dreadful, and the demotion was necessary. How do you fail to have people booked during major holidays when the money and clientele are clearly there? There was no structure, no leadership, and no motivation for employees to succeed. Having a successful spa for 3 years and coming into this environment I was not impressed. No growth, no support, no appreciation. Loved the members tho! And S/O to Leemar, Virgil and Dr. Hayden love them down!
