Pros

Owner seemed to be a nice guy

Cons

Was hired. Put in my notice with previous employer. Worked 4 days, then when I called to get schedule for the next week I was told that corporate contacted and said they had to cut 25 hours off schedule. I was told I could transfer to Bonefish or Carrabas and was given no direction otherwise. So 2 weeks before Christmas I was unemployed. Why didn't they call me to tell me or communicate with the other restaurants to get me in. This was on them. I feel screwed over and will never set foot in a Bloomin Brands establishment ever again. Horrible.

Pros

The store level can be a really rewarding experience, I come to work and genuinely enjoy my job and coworkers.

Cons

Hovering corporate can be a headache. You don't have a say on which location you are sent to after training just a consideration of your location and commute. The bonus system is lacking with metrics that are hard to obtain and only quarterly. Raises are hardly cost of living wages and seniority isnt rewarded as new managers typically come in making as much if not more than senior managers.
