Pros

Lots of travel (if you're into that) Pay is better than governmental which I eventually went to There used to be time in the summer to relax but many offices started pushing for excessive summer work as well. I've been out for awhile so I'm not sure if that changed. It's a well known company and it's good to come in, do two years, and move onto something long term.

Cons

Lots of travel (if you have a life outside of work) Pay isn't so good if you figure out your per hour rate (and counting all hours really worked, not just hours booked) They promote work life balance but in reality it all comes down to getting the work done. At first you can pull off a balance until they see that you're handling things alright and then dump more on you. Eventually the balance isn't there anymore. That's when many, like myself, move on.

Pros

Flexible WFH, free public transportation, down to earth employees, partially because most of the employees here graduated from average or below average colleges

Cons

Not competitive salaries, low 401k contributions, low bonus target. Last year salary increased by 0.5% while inflation increased 4%. Top management focusing on margins and using Indian team. Extremely uneven salaries ranges among same level and similar performance. Seriously, I overheard people talking about public accounting in an airport one time and he said good ones go to big 4, but if you are really desperate, go to RSM.
