Pros
This is a fantastic company to work for. Days of crunch and overtime are long gone. They have implemented mitigation strategies into everyday ops that actually work well to ensure nobody works overtime more than a small monthly percent as a maximum (only if necessary if there are some absences in the team). The teams are cool, managers keep being human despite of the pressure and I genuinely feel like management stepped up lately.
Cons
You have to be ready to receive a lot of random online communication once you announce you are employed there on LinkedIn. Lately because of a very large project there’s a surge of those messages and I had to turn notifications off. There’s also occasional media enquiries. Another thing that bugs me is the general perception of the company by the public (including my friends). They are concerned but I keep telling them it’s an awesome job at a good company. Things have massively changed but nobody is really vocal about it since we all have NDAs signed
