Pros
Schlumberger is a global/multinational company. The same apply to its employees. The company is extremely diverse and allows you work with coworkers from different backgrounds and points of view. The training program in finance/accounting is well structured. The learning process never ends. As soon as you master something, you get move to a new project. Schlumberger has allow me to develop professionally in the accounting field without having to scarified a couple of years of my life for one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
Cons
Work life balance can be difficult for employees with working families. SLB has many single people working that don't always understand family issues. Some company policies regarding personnel are enforced differently by each manager.
