      Pros

      Good salary, good opportunities to learn and grow, exposure to megaprojects, exposure to multinational work culture, identifies your true potential and value and appreciate your abilities and contributions as per tier 2 below.

      Cons

      There are two tiers in company: (1) Italians on top of pyramid like kings (2) Everyone else is slave. Rules are different for both tiers. An Italian will always be your boss even if they don't know anything....just because they are Italian. They take credit for everything good and blame slaves for everything bad.

      Pros

      Great responsibility for offshore operations and quay-side mobilizations. Less technical role (no direct engineering performed), but more so, practical experience-driven when executing onsite.

      Cons

      Lots of reading and writing (Purchase Requests>Purchase Orders>Final contracts). Bureaucratic procurement (SAP and Word/Excel heavy) and poor interdepartmental follow-up: you have to do the follow-up when the assigned project inspector and expeditor (POSE) don't follow up on your PO. High workload.
