Pros
There are some very good employees here but are few and far between. Salary is ok.
Cons
Where to start!? If you are Canadian you are left in the dark about everything but for things you are informed of your opinion doesn’t matter anyway (saying I told you so gets boring after so many times), management changes more than my socks yet when you fill in the position for any length of time you will never receive a title change or increase in salary regardless of the time it takes to replace the manager that left (if they replace them at all). The organization and procurement of this company are out to lunch 24/7, tools, supplies and materials take months (3-6) to receive when in most places it’s a matter of a week tops!! Saipem puts on a big farce of smoke and mirrors anytime anyone important comes to their sites, this seems to be the only thing coordinated in a timely manner!! Pretty soon they will find it hard to find good trades people in Canada because of the way they treat them, Saipem wants bodies with 2 feet and a heartbeat not thinkers or people with opinions. Canadians are not lazy yet we are portrayed this way because management likes to micromanage every small detail and then mess everything up...of course this is now your fault because your Canadian.
