      Pros

      Saipem offers financial stability and it is very difficult to loose your job once unlimited contract is signed. There is a degree of freedom in the company but once you cross the limits it is hard to re-earn the trust.

      Cons

      the ideas are always changed as a project in ongoing and there is no one that will follow up that all engineers/operation team will respect the ideas set at the beginning. every meeting new ideas are broth forward and old ones are discarded without trying to reach the end with one idea.

      Pros

      Great responsibility for offshore operations and quay-side mobilizations. Less technical role (no direct engineering performed), but more so, practical experience-driven when executing onsite.

      Cons

      Lots of reading and writing (Purchase Requests>Purchase Orders>Final contracts). Bureaucratic procurement (SAP and Word/Excel heavy) and poor interdepartmental follow-up: you have to do the follow-up when the assigned project inspector and expeditor (POSE) don't follow up on your PO. High workload.
