      Pros

      Good collaborative work environment and colleagues on offshore construction projects /business line - not so on other business lines (but this is specific to Saipem but more industry specific) Welcomes opportunities for improvements A lot of opportunities to perform and to be appreciated at least by immediate management. Since last year aligned with the market compensation packages (earlier there were quite some gaps making people to leave)

      Cons

      Company communication can be at times inconsistent Especially from HR communicating at times in anti human manner.

      Pros

      Great responsibility for offshore operations and quay-side mobilizations. Less technical role (no direct engineering performed), but more so, practical experience-driven when executing onsite.

      Cons

      Lots of reading and writing (Purchase Requests>Purchase Orders>Final contracts). Bureaucratic procurement (SAP and Word/Excel heavy) and poor interdepartmental follow-up: you have to do the follow-up when the assigned project inspector and expeditor (POSE) don't follow up on your PO. High workload.
