Pros
As a branch manager while employed at Santander, I met a lot of good coworkers. Other than that, I can’t think of any other pros.
Cons
The culture of the bank was absolutely horrendous. The best branch managers I knew, along with the best mortgage officers and financial consultants, all left the bank within the last year or two. Sales practices were becoming unethical, and any problems you may have with District Executives are ignored when reported to HR. I have also worked for Citizens Bank and Bank of America, and I would recommend working for one of those banks, or perhaps a smaller institution. BEWARE OF SANTANDER!
