Pros
Perks and comp are great for Canadians. Engineering culture is very engineer driven, not a lot of top down management, they provide you with direction and expect you to get the job done
Cons
Don't believe a single word HR tells you during the interview process. They intentionally mis-level incoming talent, promise them fast tracks, will tell you that they frequently level people up in the first 6 months if it's obvious that you were mis-levelled. When you work hard to show that you off your skill, and get support for promotions from all your managers however, HR will deny it with random made up rules. So word for the wise, if you're coming in, stand you ground on your level, because you're not getting some magic upgrade when you get into the company.
