Pros
- Despite only having worked there for 2 months, received a 4 month severance - Solid culture focused on work-life balance - the best "Dollars-per-hour-worked" job I've had to date
Cons
- Company felt extremely bureaucratic - the exact thing they set out to disrupt. Small decisions required multiple approvals up the chain of command, and by the time it was approved, the motion was often no longer relevant. They claim to focus on "GSD" but their reach exceeds their grasp due to the bloated checks & balances required to move the levers. - Leadership very isolated. The only time I was even on the same call as a VP was on the 10 minute call when they laid me off. Hard to feel like you're part of the decision making process. - Lots of busywork completing status updates that I have the sneaking suspicion would never be reviewed more than 1 level above you.
